The $35 dinner menu’s first course offers a choice of Grotto’s delectable Black Eyed Pea Soup or their garden-fresh Roasted Baby Beet Salad with baby greens, pomegranate, goat cheese, pecans, and baby carrots. Entree selections include a lovely Pan Roasted Snapper with broiled artichokes, sugar snap peas. and roasted cauliflower; or the Braised Beef Short Rib & Wild Mushroom Cannelloni stufffed with spinach and sundried tomatoes, marinara, mozzarella, and basil. Your culinary journey culminates with a dessert choice of Amaretto Milk Chocolate Panna Cotta & Pistachio Biscotti, or a Pumpkin Mascarpone Bar with Vanilla Sabayon Sauce.
Inspired by a Old Country trattoria ambiance & classic Italian cooking, Grotto delivers a savory menu brimming with timeless recipes made on premises. Creations include many “Old World” signature dishes such as Neapolitan thin crust pizzas, Veal Kickerillo, Pollo Francese, Papperdelle con Verdura and Snapper Siciliano. The eighth annual Galveston.com & Company Galveston Restaurant Week – Saturday, January 26th thru February 10th, 2019 – brings Galveston Island’s vibrant food scene to life for two full weeks of delicious dining. The event is presented by WAITR. Delivery or carryout, Waitr allows you to eat however and whenever you please.
Participating in Galveston Restaurant Week is easy! No tickets or passes are required! Food lovers may simply dine out at as many participating restaurants as they like during Galveston Restaurant Week. Two and/or 3-course dinners will be priced between $20-$35; and 2-course lunches, breakfasts, & brunches will cost between $10-$20.
Reservations are strongly recommended to make sure you’re able to sample your favorite flavors, and a number of participating restaurants offer reservations via OpenTable.
The public is invited to experience cuisine that will amplify your palate and highlight the fun of dining on Galveston Island. Quite simply, this culinary tradition promises to “celebrate delicious!” like no other event of the year.
